I can't have a blog about fashion & style without mentioning my stylish dog, Louis. He is named after Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette's husband, because of the legend that she carried her favorite dog, a papillon, under her skirt when she was executed. And of course, Louis Vuitton and all things French, as "papillon" means "butterfly" in French. I think the above Vogue Paris photos prove how chic the dogs can be.
The breed is also one of the oldest, dating back to 1502 when their existence was recorded through paintings. I love the history.
And he's always reminded me of Bambi. The ears, the colors, the long thin legs...
Louis is adorable, I didn't know thats why you names him that :) clever :)
